Aaron was a practical joker with a wicked sense of humor. He was passionate about music — he loved the drums, and he rocked the guitar. His favorite bands were My Chemical Romance, Green Day, U2, and Led Zepplin, to name a few.
On July 20, 2015, Aaron received a diagnosed that he had rhabdomyosarcoma, a soft tissue cancer. Through his treatments, Aaron never lost hope. His optimism and his laughter never wavered, every core in his being, refused to quit. But, in March of 2017, Aaron closed his eyes and went home.
Today, Aaron lives through all of us, through the Aaron M. Stone Memorial Fund. An organization that provides joy and comfort to families dealing with childhood cancers. Aaron’s love for music continues, where our fund works with youth groups that provide instruments and the scholarships they need to pursue their life’s passion.
In collaboration with hospitals and other compassionate organizations, we will provide a touch of joy and comfort to families dealing with childhood cancer.
Working with youth-serving organizations, we will purchase modern band instruments and provide scholarships for lessons for youth who demonstrate an interest in music.
The Aaron M. Stone Memorial Fund is brought to you by A,B,C,D friends. Special thanks to the wonderful people and organizations who have help us along the way: Studio 13, Abigail Edmonds, Chuck and Lisa Surack, as well as all of our sponsors. The Aaron M.
